The Stockton Center for Successful Aging

Recognizing that individual and population aging presents both opportunities and perils, The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, now Stockton University, initiated a community program to address the needs of seniors.  The Stockton Center on Successful Aging (SCOSA) was founded in 2007 to “nurture body, mind, and spirit through research, education, and service.”

As a Stockton alumni and active participant in caring for the needs of the elderly, Lori Heberley was one of the founding Board members and has continued to serve.

The Center’s core mission is to encourage residents to “age successfully” through vital involvements and engagement in their community.
